Swiftwater Rescue Technician Course

Water Rescue Train-the-Trainer Academy

Comprehensive 4-day Instructor training program designed to train and authorize designated representatives from Law Enforcement, Fire, Rescue, and EMS agencies as Water Rescue Instructors. Upon successful completion of the Academy, instructors are authorized to conduct Water Rescue Awareness, Operations, and Technician level, as well as Swiftwater Rescue Technician courses on behalf of their department/agency. Academy includes the Technician level training. Tuition includes books, materials, equipment, meals, and lodging. Courses meet/exceed NFPA 1670 Standard for Technical Rescue.
