(Includes the newest TEXTBOOK + workbook (Brady 10th edition, newest text book available), CPR Textbook, as well as a Stethoscope, B/P Cuff, pocket mask, plus other items you will be using in the field. Learn the latest information available in the EMS Field, some of the topics covered will be: Weapons of Mass Destruction, Defib, Epi-Pens, Nitro, Inhalers, New Trauma Regulations, DNR, Incident Command/Mass Casualty, Scene Safety, EMS for Children (with information from the new Pediatrics for Emergency Prehospital Provider’s program), and Terminology & Skills from the EMT-B Curriculum. Also a general review of other skills and information needed everyday to be part of the Emergency Medical Services Field. Also included is an American Heart Association CPR Card – (Healthcare Provider Level), if desired. Upon successful completion of the course students will be required to pay an additional fees, to the State of Connecticut, to qualify to take the DPH/EMS administrated Practical Exam and National Registry of EMTs Written Exam.
