Steve Cole, Paramedic, CCEMTP Steve Cole has been involved in EMS and EMS education since 1990. He has worked for a variety of EMS agencies including volunteer fire, military, hospital based, private, and third service. He is currently employed by Ada County Paramedics (Boise, Idaho),atop-tier and often besieged 'Third Service' EMS, as a Captain, and as an FTO. He is involved in many projects, stands on many soap boxes, wears many hats, and generally tries to 'fight the good fight'. He is also known locally as an EMS expert on 'all things freaky', which he hopes is a compliment. He lives near Boise with his family, where he spends his ample spare time reading, playing, and trying to hit the cheerios in the toilet. He has no current conflicts of interest with any of his articles, and has not received from any commercial interest for their production. He would like to mention that he is open for some money, should a sufficiently insane commercial enterprise wish to invest in his expansive, eclectic, and somewhat haphazard quest for EMS excellence. He can be reached by email at: colemedic @ hotmail.com |
